By integrating advanced technologies such as Svelte, Next.js, Supabase, and AWS S3, we're in the process of constructing a dynamic and scalable web application. Our goal is to cultivate a supportive online community poised to embrace wellness and vibrant living once launched.

Pfabe's Music Store Associate

Painesville, Ohio | 2015 - 2020

During my five years at a local music store, I wore many hats, from managing the front desk to handling sales, instrument rental contracts, and repairs. My role involved extensive interaction with customers, aiding in the selection and leasing of instruments for school programs, as well as showing young students how to play or blow their first notes on any instrument of choice. I prided myself on maintaining a well-organized and welcoming store environment. This experience honed my skills in sales, customer service, and multitasking, making me an exemplary member of the Pfabe's team.

Music Passion

My journey in music extends beyond playing bass in jazz ensembles. It has been a path of diverse experiences and learning opportunities.

As a bassist, I have immersed myself in the intricate world of jazz, appreciating the improvisational skills and syncopated rhythms that define this genre. With no small thanks to the Jazz Faculty (Chris Coles and Theron Brown) at the University I have been fortunate to persue high level music at the same time as obtaining my degree.

Beyond performance, I've developed a knack for sound engineering. Running sound for various events has honed my technical skills and given me a deeper understanding of the acoustic aspect of music production. This role requires a keen ear, quick problem-solving abilities, and a deep understanding of audio equipment.

My experience also extends to working as a roadie and technician for bands. This work has been about the nuts and bolts of music – setting up equipment, ensuring everything works seamlessly, and being part of the behind-the-scenes crew that makes every performance possible. It's taught me the value of hard work, reliability, and being part of a team.

Each of these roles has contributed to my understanding and love for music, making me a well-rounded musician and technician.
